The four time defending division champion Chargers pulled off the most important game of the season, a loss would have eliminated the bolts from the division race. The Chargers outgained the Chiefs 426 yds to 67. Philip Rivers played an exceptional game, surgical out of the shotgun formation leading to 88.2 completion rate and a season high 207 rushing yards.
