MTV Music Meter Scans Social Media Sites For up and coming stars

The Music Meter actually scans social networking sites for artist and bands receiving mass amounts of comments, and is available today. Versions set to come out for the Android software and Apple iphones will be available late January. Music Meter provides the usual music videos but have an added extra perk of 30 second sampling of tracks. MTV began in 1981, being one of the first channels to air music videos. Vevo.com, a Universal Music Group and Sony Division is the top challeger as far as online music goes. Viacom, based in New York rose 4 cents yesterday for a total of $39.54, shares gained 33 percent. MTV's foundation was always strong they just lost alot of there fans when The Real World and 16 and Pregnant began invading our homes. Hopefully MTV will stick to its strogest attribute, which has always been to provide the highest quality music videos, remeber what worked and what did not.
